Friendship Haven is the fulfillment of dreams of local Mennonite senior citizens in the 1970's.  Located at 2600 West Jefferson St. in Kokomo, one bedroom apartments are available for persons age 62 and older.  Rent is based on income with guidelines provided by HUD.  A Board of Directors made up of persons from Parkview and Howard-Miami Mennonite Churches, plus two representatives from the community, guide the decision making for the retirement center.  Wednesday evening chapel services are led by persons from the local Mennonite churches.  Friendship Haven provides an equal housing opportunity and is located near a variety of shopping and health care options.  For more information call 765-459-9343

Our Church, along with family and friends, has a booth at the sale where you can buy dried flowers, grasses and fall decorations as individually components or have us make an arrangement for you.  You can also be involved by growing items to sell or helping in the booth on Fri and Sat.

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a worldwide ministry of Anabaptist churches, shares God's love and compassion for all in the name of Christ by responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice. MCC envisions communities worldwide in right relationship with God, one another and creation.  READ MORE about MCC's purpose and vision, priorities, approaches, values and convictions.

Collecting "pocket change" for a clean water project for a Mennonite academy in Africa at Parkview.

Parkview's donation of school kit bags containing basic school supplies for children wherever needed. They are MCC's most requested item.  Our

women also make bags for other congregations to fill.

Below are a few of the organizations we are involved with throughout the year.  Watch our Calendar of Events page for opportunities to participate with us in these and other service opportunities.
